The Indigo network is a group of innovators who aim to bring about social change by creating opportunities for people to build financial assets.
Assets, as opposed to only income, have profound effects on individuals and families and their ability to break the poverty cycle. They enable people to plan for the future, make choices and weather unexpected storms.
Indigo partners believe that, with the right products, services and support, more people can exit poverty and build sustainable economic security for themselves, their families and their communities.
Supported by the Levi Strauss Foundation, Indigo aims to create an asset building movement in Europe through:
- sharing information and experience
- conducting joint research
- replicating good practice
- advocating for change.
The Indigo network is facilitated by the International Association for Community Development (IACD).
